I recently stayed at a country hotel in beautiful Welsh countryside. The location was perfect for exploring the area, with walking and biking trails nearby. The room was spacious and well-furnished, with a comfortable bed and large TV. The bathroom was clean and well-equipped. The service was excellent, with friendly and welcoming hosts. Breakfast consisted of high-quality locally produced ingredients. The hotel also had a lovely terrace overlooking a large garden, perfect for relaxing.
The hotel lacked some modern facilities that I would have expected.

The value for money at Ty Mawr was excellent, and the room provided every luxury and comfort I needed. The location was in stunning Welsh countryside, with beautiful walking and biking trails nearby. The staff treated me like an old friend, providing a warm welcome and going out of their way to ensure I had a perfect stay.
The breakfast selection could have included more vegetables as sides to fill up the plate. However, the exceptional presentation and willingness of the hotel to accommodate special requests made up for it.

A truly unforgettable celebration at Ty Mawr. From the moment we arrived, the new owners, Mel and Paul, went above and beyond to make our surprise birthday weekend perfect. The seamless handover and their attentiveness made us feel right at home. The cozy ambience, delicious food prepared by Paul, and the mesmerizing jazz music from Chris Kennedy created a magical atmosphere. We were thrilled by the surprise shout of "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" from our loved ones. Thank you, Mel and Paul, for being excellent hosts and making this celebration exceptional. We highly recommend this place for any special event. we'll definitely be back!

The rooms were spacious and well-furnished, with comfortable beds and large TVs. The bathrooms were clean and well-equipped. The hotel is located in a small village, making it a peaceful and quiet getaway. We also enjoyed the lovely garden with its patio and tables and chairs.
We were unable to dine at the hotel's restaurant due to our prior dining plans. we found it a bit challenging to engage in conversations with fellow guests as the atmosphere seemed a bit reserved.
